Fire Guard Services Supports Classics on The Common and the Fire Fighters Charity
Each summer, Harpenden hosts one of the area’s most popular classic car events: Classics On The Common organised and hosted by The Rotary Club, Harpenden. Drawing thousands of visitors and enthusiasts from across the country, the event transforms Harpenden Common into a vibrant celebration of automotive history, community spirit, and charitable giving.
In July 2025, Fire Guard Services was proud to contribute to the event’s safety arrangements by providing a range of fire extinguishers for use across the site. As a company founded and operated by former members of the Fire Services, ensuring public safety is at the heart of everything we do, whether we are supporting businesses, residential properties, or community events.
A Generous Donation to the Fire Fighters Charity
Following our contribution, the Rotary Club of Harpenden kindly made a £100 donation to the Fire Fighters Charity a cause very close to our hearts.
This charity provides vital physical, mental, and emotional support to firefighters, control staff, and their families throughout the UK. As former firefighters ourselves, this cause is particularly close to our hearts, and we are grateful for the Rotary Club’s generosity.
