About us
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join our well established fire safety company in Harpenden. We have been in business since 1994, with our professional approach helping commercial clients meet British Standards Fire Safety Legislation and ensure regulatory compliance.
All of the sites we cover are located within Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, London and Northamptonshire. We are small team and therefore the right candidate will have to be a team player and have the right attitude to work. We are looking for an engineer to start immediately.
Experience is required in BAFE or FETA qualifications.
Responsibilities and Duties
The role will include servicing of customer fire extinguishers to relevant British Standards (BAFE or FETA) whilst adhering to health & safety requirements. Ensuring that all work activity meets company targets and that operating procedures are followed correctly. Service of all types of fire extinguisher equipment, fixing of wall brackets, signage and collection of equipment as required. You should be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 1 years’ experience, preferred within this field.

Your role will include the maintenance of Fire alarm as per BS5839 requirement & emergency lighting servicing. There could be an opportunity for this role to lead into installations of Fire Alarms. You should be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
