The car dealership’s existing manual turn bells were no longer sufficient to meet modern fire safety standards or insurance requirements. Their insurers also stipulated that any new system must be installed and maintained by a BAFE-registered provider. 

On top of that, the dealership needed a solution that would: 

• Protect the entire site, including the main building, two external units, the workshop, and the valet bay. 

• Be installed quickly and with as little disruption as possible to their busy showroom and service areas. 

Our Approach

We installed the Hyfire wireless system, designed to meet both the Fire Risk Assessment recommendations and the strict requirements of the insurance company. To provide complete peace of mind, we also integrated a CSL DualCom Radio/Radio unit, ensuring the system is externally monitored at all times. 

The Result 

Today, Ken Brown Motors has a fully compliant, BAFE-approved fire alarm system that safeguards every part of their site. The installation was carried out with minimal impact on day-to-day business, and the dealership can now move forward with confidence, knowing their staff, customers, and premises are protected.
